We are sad to announce that we are in the process of dissolving 2CR. Check back for a letter from our founders, updated donor list, honorable mentions and updates on our adopted equine.

Second Chance Ranch of DE was dedicated to providing shelter, care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for abused, neglected and unwanted equine. "2CR" was funded through individual donations and fund raisers. We had no paid employees, but ran solely only with the help of dedicated volunteers and devoted family members.
A BIT OF BACKGROUND
Second Chance Ranch was started in 2013 and will be closing at the end of the year, 2026. Cindy purchased her Felton property with the goal of running a non-profit horse rescue. Together with her family and friends she worked tirelessly to clean up the property and build what now stands here as a beautiful 5 stall barn complete with tack room, office, hay loft, and second story storage. A horse advocates dream.
Cindy accepted her first rescue horse in September of 2013.
